The Air Force 1 Premium ’08 High-Frequency Digital Camouflage is the sixth installment of the 30th Anniversary Pearl Collection. It features a reflective digital camo pattern, and comes in either white or black colorways.

“Designed with street sensibilities and modern craftsmanship, this shoe features new HF (high-frequency) weld construction giving a three-dimensional look that includes reflective material,” Nike said in a press release. “The embossed reflective heel and tongue tabs add a premium touch to this white-based shoe with silver accents.”

The shoe is slated to launch worldwide this summer, but only at select retailers.

There was talk of an April date, but it came and no release.

Australian-based sneaker boutique/blog Laced.com says the April date was a “postponement”, and says they’ve confirmed a global release of June 9th for both colorways — the Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum and Black/Solar Red.

According to Laced.com, the Air Yeezy 2 will be extremely limited. Exact numbers in each market are unknown, but Laced says Australia will have less than 30 pairs of each colorway in the country. Rumored retail price: $350.

While Nike has yet to confirm the date, sources say the June date is it. Stay tuned…

Boasting a black upper with safety orange and game royal as accents, the kicks celebrate Michael Jordan destroying the Cleveland Cavaliers during the late 80′s and early 90′s, specifically with a buzzer beater MJ over Craig Ehlo in the 1989 playoffs (see here).

The Air Jordan 4 “Cavs” dropped on Saturday (May 12) around the country, and retailed for $160. Most stores are probably sold out, so there’s always eBay.com.

The brand will re-release the sneaker for a “one time drop” of its original white/red colorway, and then, it’ll go back into the Reebok vault. While the nubuck toe version has been re-released in the past, this is the first time Reebok has re-released the Question with the pearlized toe since its original launch.

Originally released in 1996, the Question would become one of the best-selling Reebok sneakers ever created and a staple of nearly every “Top Sneaker” list. It featured a full-grain leather upper and a pearlized outsole; and the unique honey-comb shaped Hexalite cushioning system alongside the shoe, marking the first time Reebok’s technology would be blown out to the midsole.

Considered the most popular model in Iverson” signature Reebok line, the Question is a classic “must have” for sneaker collectors and basketball fans alike.

The Reebok Question Mid is slated to drop May 25th at Reebok.com, Jimmy Jazz, Villa, Shoe Palace, and Shiekh’s retailers. They will retail for $125.

For the NIKEiD version of the Spizike, the shoe giant offers six different colors, as well as 4 different translucent outsole colors and elephant print. Of course, you choose … deciding between colors for the upper, midsole, outsole, and accenting throughout.

The customer can also choose between full-grain leather and nubuck for the upper, while various options are available of other areas of the shoe, including solid, translucent, and elephant colors.

The Jordan Spizike iD retails for $210. While fans can still head over the to site and design their own, they are currently sold out. Head over to NikeiD.com to check it out.

The brand unveils four new colorways for the suede low model — including navy blue/white, grey/maroon, black/white, and black/maroon additions. As a special touch the tongue says “Silas” under the trefoil, instead of Adidas.

The 2012 Silas Pro from Adidas Skateboarding is available now at select retailers worldwide.

Designed to be lightweight with enough support and traction for speed drills and weight training, the show is touted as “the athlete’s ultimate running shoe for year-round workouts.”

“The first thing that comes to mind when you put on the adizero Sonic is how light it is,” Griffin III said in a statement. “It gives you a lot of support so you can run long distances, but you can use it multiple ways. This year’s collection incorporates two variations of Pendleton’s Chief Joseph pattern into the uppers of Classic silhouettes including the Classic Slip-On, the Old Skool, and the Sk8-Hi.

Youth sizes are also released in the Old Skool V model.

The limited sneakers will retail from $50 for youth version, and from $65-75 for adult versions.

The Nibwaakaawin x Vans Pendleton vans will drop at the All Nation Skate Jam on April 28-29. with all proceeds going to Nibwaakaawin, which is dedicated to the education and empowerment of Native youth.

A seemingly perfect match, classic Southern California skate footwear company Vans has linked up with the first publication of its kind, Skateboarder Magazine, for capsule collection due out later this summer. Linked almost from the beginning with both parties sharing origins in 1960s Orange County, Skateboarder Magazine and Vans both took off in the 1970s as the popularity of the sport grew with the rise of Dogtown’s Vans-outfitted Zephyr skate team and the insatiable desire for coverage of the crew. 23 pairs of the Coverse, Jordan collabo sneakers, signed by Mike himself, were auctioned off on eBay recently for the James R. Jordan Foundation.

Following the craze surrounding the release of the Nike Air Foamposite Galaxy in late February, news of an upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Low surfaced just recently.

As seen in these photos (via KicksOnFire.com), Nike blends two popular sneakers. The forthcoming shoe boasts the iconicAir Force 1 low silhouette with the popular Nike Air Foamposite Pro. Its upper rests in a retro blue foamposite shell and sits on top of a black midsole, with a slight blue tint on the heel with the classic “AIR” signature over it.

This is a first look at the retro colorway, but we also spotted a pewter version as well.

Word is, the Air Force 1 Low Foamposite is expected sometime during the upcoming holiday season. Stay tuned for further updates.

Diamond Supply Co. owner Nicky Diamonds gave fans a preview of these collaborative sneakers with Curren$y late last year, and with the release date coming later this month, the brand gives everyone a closer look at their upcoming Brilliant “4/20″ pack.

We spotted somew new imagery over at HighSnobiety.com, which shows off low and hi-top versions of the upcoming Diamond Supply Co. x Curren$y collaborative shoe. As seen in the photos, both models are available in either black/white or green/white, and is covered in an all-over print of a marijuana leaf.

Marking the 10-year anniversary of their original sneaker, Supreme and Nike are re-upping for the return of the collaborative Supreme Dunk Low Pro SB model. Japanese mag Shoes Master revealed a photo of the anticipated sneaker, which features cement print, complemented by a bright red leather upper and black swoosh.

At press time, it is unknown if a second colorway will also be available, but the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to drop in June, and retail for around $166. There was no official announcement for the price and/or release date, though. So, stay tuned…

Vans’ has just rolled out the new Native Pack from the Vans OTW Collection, comprised of a new three-pack of colorways. In support of the sneakers’ release, the shoe brands drops this 40-second commercial showing them off. The clip features the new colorways backed by the barren landscape of the California desert.

The Vans OTW Collection’s Native Pack is part of the company’s Spring 2012 line. With uppers draped in neutral desert shades and lining detailed with indigenous print canvas, the Alomar, Bedford and Ludlow styles blend Vans DNA with Native American heritage.

Popular streetwear brand The Hundreds has just released brand new colorways for three of their footwear styles as part of their Spring 2012 collection.

In stores today, the company drops five new colors for their Johnson Low, Johnson Mid, and Valenzuela Low. The Johnson Low is now available in cream and black, their Johnson Mid comes in brown, and the Valenzuela Low comes in new black and navy colors.

The Vans-inspired silhouettes are made of “top quality materials”, and the design “is met with both premium comfort and style in mind,” The Hundreds writes on their blog.

All five releases dropped Thursday (March 22) at Hundreds flagships (Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Santa Monica), as well as authorized retailers.

Now, sneaker heads are clamouring for the Air Yeezy 2′s.

Word around sneaker blogs is that the official street date in coming in April, so stay tuned and be prepared to camp out if you want a pair, unless of course, you’re a personal friend of the rapper.

As seen on the feet of Kanye, there are various colorways set to drop. Now, the first detailed images of the anticipated shoe have surfaced, giving fans a closer look at the wolf grey/pure platinum colorway.

The shoe seems to take inspiration from ancient Egyptian mythology, as the logo on the tongue is of the mythological God Horus, which Kanye famously made into an oversized gold pendant. Performance Torch fabric is used for the tongue, while the rest of the shoe is comprised of nylon mesh, suede and snake skin leather. Other detailing include glow-in-the-dark soles, a leather lace toggle, and chunky metal lace tips.

The Air Yeezy 2 wolf grey/pure platinum colorway is slated to hit retailers worldwide on April 13.

Los Angeles streetwear vets, Crooks & Castles, officially relaunched their footwear line recently, with the release of six new colorways of previously released styles.

The brand has just rolled out new colorways for their Isa and Backstab models, made of suede and perforated leather materials.

The Isa silhouette is re-released in four new colorways — grey, teal, red and black. Three of the shoes come in suede, while the black version comes in perforated leather. The Backstab silhouette is available in either red or black, and comes in suede. Both models boasts the simplistic theme the brand is known for, and retails for $60 and $65 respectively.

Rick Ross revealed Wednesday (March 14) that he’s recently inked an endorsement deal with shoe maker Reebok Classics.

Following the brand’s partnership with producer Swizz Beatz last year, they strengthen their ties within the hip-hop game with Miami rap superstar.

Ross confirmed news of the deal via Twitter (@RickyRozay), only after Swizz let the cat out of the bag, welcoming the rapper to the brand with a photo of the pair together at Reebok offices. “The ink is DRY now it’s time to fly! Rozay welcome to Reebok,” the producer wrote (@TheRealSwizzz), who also holds a Creative Director position at Reebok Classics.

Further details about the deal were unknown at press time. Stay tuned…

Nike recently released new Nike SB Dunks in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, but other companies are releasing their own kicks to honor the Irish as well. Adidas announced the “St. Paddy’s” version of Derrick Rose’s signature sneaker, the adiZero Rose 2.5, this week … which the NBA star will debut this Saturday (March 17) on St. Patrick’s Day.

The new colorway comes in Kelly green and will match the Chicago Bulls’ special green uniforms when they play during the holiday, one of the most celebrated holidays in the Chicago area.

In 2006, the Chicago Bulls were one of three teams to take part in the NBA’s first-ever St. Patrick’s Day uniform celebration … and they’re doing it again. Rose will take it further with his own green kicks.

The shoe features a luckskin nubuck upper that also ties back to the colors of Derrick’s childhood school, Beasley Academy.

The adiZero Rose 2.5 “St. Paddy’s” drops Thursday (March 15) at Foot Locker, Eastbay and Adidas.com; and retails for $110.

Nike released a new SB Dunk Low last week, dubbed the “Black and Tan Quickstrike,” in an attempt to honor Ireland leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. But, instead of getting a positive reaction, the Irish are outraged. Apparently, someone at Nike didn’t do their research.

While the shoe company named the sneaker after the popular black-n-tan colored beverage, in which you mix Guinness (which floats on top) and Harp or Bass, it’s not a drink the Irish will order. Guinness and Harp are Irish beers, but the nickname comes from the the 1920s. A British paramilitary group, known as the “Black & Tans,” used brutality to suppress an armed Irish Revolution, and it was known for its ruthless attacks against Irish civilians.

According to Yahoo’s Trending Now blog, Ciaran Staunton (president of the Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform) said the name of the shoe “would be the American equivalent of calling a sneaker ‘the Al Qaeda.’”

“Is there no one at Nike able to Google Black and Tan?” Staunton asked.

Nike has since issued an apology for inadvertently upsetting people in Ireland, saying “no offense was intended.” A rep for the sneaker giant also told FoxNews.com that the official name of the sneakers is “Nike SB Dunk Low,” claiming the kicks were “unofficially named by some using a phrase that can be viewed as inappropriate and insensitive.”

The Nike SB Dunk Low black/tan colorway dropped at retailers last week in limited quantities. Southern California retailer Primitive are carrying them in their store, as well as Michigan boutique Premier.

NBA superstar Derrick Rose and Adidas unveiled this week yet another new colorway for his signature sneaker, the adiZeroRose 2.5.

The Black and Blue colorway is inspired by Rose’s hard-fought path to the NBA, From the physical style of play at Murray Park in the Englewood neighborhood of Derrick’s hometown of Chicago, said a press release.

The shoe features tumbled, full grain leather and luxury nubuck upper for a smooth off-court look to rep the style of his hometown.

The adiZero Rose 2.5 “Black and Blue” retails for $110, and is available now at Foot Locker, Eastbay and ShopAdidas.com.
