According to New York Daily News, Marcus was “animated, intoxicated and uncooperative” when police found him arguing with two women in the driveway of an Embassy Suites at around 2:15 a.m.

It reportedly took several officers to subdue the 6’3″, 205-pound Jordan.

Authorities eventually arrested Marcus. He was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstruction, and released late Sunday night.

According to ESPN, the 24-year-old NBA player allegedly choked a family member back in late February during an altercation in Texas.

The charge was recently filed by the Harris County District Attorney in Houston. However details about the assault — including who was involved — were unknown at press time.

If convicted, Hill could face up to 10 years in prison, and a $10,000 fine.

His camp has yet to comment on the situation.

Hill was traded to the Lakers in mid-March, as part of the trade that sent Derek Fisher to Houston.

As word of the charge spread, two messages were posted on Hill’s Twitter account Monday (April 30) (@JordanChill43): “Wowwwww,” and “Unbelievable!!!!!!!!”

A Ventura man was arrested Sunday after police said he attacked his 18-year-old son with a sword, accusing

him of being lazy and not doing chores around the house.

Antonio Gutierrez, 43, was in a heated argument with his son, John, when he picked up a 4-foot-long sword, police said. The son tried to use his hands to defend himself, police said, but his hand was lacerated by the blade and he bled profusely.

When officers arrived at the family’s residence, the father had left, police said, but he returned several hours later and was arrested and booked on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
